Default model

Choose the default model Nebula uses for you. Set a personal default and let agents pick the right model per task when it matters.

You can choose the model Nebula uses for you by default. Set it once in your account settings, and every new conversation starts with your preferred model.

Set your default model

Open Settings → Model to see the available models and pick the one you want as your default.

Open your account settings and select Model.
Browse the available models — each shows what it's best suited for.
Pick one as your default. New chats use it automatically.

Your default vs per-task choice

Your default is a starting point, not a hard rule. Agents can still pick a different model for a specific task when that gets a better result.

Choosing a model

Ask Nebula in chat to switch models or recommend one for a task. For anything unresolved, email support@nebula.gg. See Support for more options.

Performance vs. depth

Heavier models reason more deeply on complex work; lighter models reply faster and are great for quick back-and-forth. You don't have to optimize this yourself — start with the default and adjust only if replies feel too slow or not thorough enough. Because an agent can pick a stronger model for a hard step on its own, most people leave the default in place and let Nebula handle the rest.
