Apps: build tools for a channel by asking
Create apps in Nebula by describing them. Trackers, dashboards and forms open beside a channel's chat, and you can add them to another channel.
Apps are small tools an agent on your team builds for you, such as trackers, dashboards and forms, that open beside a channel's chat. You make one by describing it, and anyone in a channel can add an existing app they can access to it.

Create an app by asking
Say what you want to see and what you want to do with it, and Nebula hands the build to an agent on the channel's team as a task, so you can follow the build and steer it like any other task.
Ask Nebula in the channel's chat, for example "Nebula, create me an app that…". The build runs as a task in the channel, and you can follow it from the Threads tab.
Or tap New in Settings → Miniapps. Describe the app, pick the agent that builds and owns it under Build with, and tap Continue in chat. Nebula itself can't own an app, so the form starts on one of your workspace's agents and asks you to create one if there's none. The build runs in the app's own chat rather than in a channel, so add the app to a channel afterwards.

To change an app after it's built, ask Nebula - in the channel, or in the task that built it. Describe what's wrong or missing in the words you'd use with a teammate.
What to ask for
The best requests say what the app shows and what people do with it. Here are some to adapt:
A shared list your team updates instead of a spreadsheet nobody opens.
- "Nebula, create me an app that tracks launch deliverables by owner and due date, and flags anything overdue."
Numbers you want to watch change instead of asking for a fresh summary every time.
- "Nebula, create me an app that charts launch-week signups by day, with a filter by region."
Something teammates fill in without having to prompt an agent themselves.
- "Nebula, create me an app that collects beta feedback (name, feature, rating and notes) and lists what's come in."
A model you can play with when the question is "what if".
- "Nebula, create me an app that models launch pricing with sliders for price, volume and discount, and shows break-even as they move."
A channel's apps
On desktop, every app on a channel sits in the Apps box in the side column, between Agents and Threads. They start in the channel's own order, which is the same for everyone in it. To read them your way, click Sort apps (the arrows icon) and pick Most visited, Recently updated or Name; Channel order puts it back. Your choice is kept on that computer and doesn't change the box for anyone else. Most visited counts everyone's opens, so the apps your team actually uses come first. Click one to open it beside the chat, as a tab of its own until you close it. Hover over an app to see its name and what it does. Click the gear on an open app's tab (App settings) to see who made it, its agent and where it runs. With edit access to the app, you can change its name, description and access there, or delete it under Danger zone.
Add an app to another channel
An app made for one channel can help in others. Anyone who can open the channel can add one or take one off, for everyone in it.
The + (Create an app) window leads with making a new one, and under Add from your workspace it offers up to three that already exist, your own first. When the workspace has more, click Browse all to see every app in the workspace and search them by name, then click Add to put one on the channel for everyone. You can also ask Nebula in the channel to add an app the workspace already has. If an app is missing or access is refused, ask its owner to check sharing.
Apps on your phone
On mobile, a channel's apps are in its Miniapps tab (the blocks icon). It lists the apps added to that channel, in the order they were added; with more than one, use the sort menu above the list to show them by Most visited, Recently updated or Name. Settings → Miniapps lists every app in the workspace, and its New button builds one with an agent you pick. To get a new one for a channel, ask Nebula in the channel's chat. To add an app the workspace already has, ask Nebula in the channel or use the desktop app.
A link in an app that leads somewhere else opens in your phone's browser instead of inside the app's frame: the app keeps its own pages, and the page you land on gets the browser's controls. Pages on the app's own address, or on another Nebula app's address, still open inside it.
Open an app and tap Miniapp settings (the gear in its header) to see who made it, which agent it belongs to and where it runs. With edit access to the app, you can change its name and description under Details and tap Save, or delete it under Danger zone. Deleting stops it on its device, frees its address and removes it for everyone in the workspace, and it can't be undone.
