Channels
Channels are topic-based rooms where your workspace works with agents. Learn how to create channels, set visibility, and manage members.
A channel is a room in your workspace dedicated to a topic — a project, an event, a team. You and your teammates work in it together, with agents you've added.

Creating a channel
In the sidebar, click the + next to Channels.
Give it a name. Nebula slugs it for you (so "Grad Party" becomes grad-party).
Pick visibility:
- Workspace — everyone in the workspace can find and join it.
- Private — only the people you add can see it. Locked channels show a lock icon in the sidebar.
Add the agents you want available in the channel. You can change this later.
Channel members
Any workspace admin can add or remove members on a channel. Members can post, reply, mention agents, and start new threads.
Mention an agent in a channel to bring it in mid-conversation, e.g. "@Nebula can you summarize this?" Even if the agent isn't in the channel yet, mentioning it will pull it in.
Create and manage in chat
You don't have to leave the conversation to add or change a channel.
Create a private channel called launch-prep with just me, Nebula, and the Twitter Agent.
Creating #launch-prep with private visibility.
Done — #launch-prep is in your sidebar with a lock icon. Added you, Nebula, and @Twitter Agent.
Sharing files
Drop a file into a channel and every member — and every agent in the channel — can read it. Files attached to a thread stay scoped to that thread; files dropped at the channel level are available everywhere in it.

Threads
Threads are individual conversations inside a channel, each with its own context and an auto-generated summary. Start, find, and use threads in Nebula.
