Quickstart: your first channel
Create a Nebula channel and set its goal with the orchestrator on a call or in chat. Nebula builds the AI agent team and starts the work.
Go from an empty workspace to an agent team working on a goal in about five minutes. A new workspace has no agents yet. Set a channel's goal and Nebula builds the team for you.

Create a channel
On desktop, click + next to Channels and choose Create a channel. On your phone, tap + next to Channel (or Add channel at the bottom of your list), then Create channel. Name it after the goal, like q4-launch.
New channel
Who can see it
Everyone in the workspace can find it and join in.
What its Tasks run on
Default (workspace model)Each Task started here takes this as its own model, and keeps it. Changeable later, for the Tasks started after. Chat and Calls always run Nebula's own model.
Who's in it
Visibility and starting points are covered in Channels.
Set the goal with the orchestrator
Tell Nebula, the orchestrator, what this channel is for and what done looks like. Talk it through on a call from the channel's Call box (or the Calls tab on your phone), or say it in the chat. In a shared channel, start with “Nebula,” so it knows you're talking to it:
"Nebula, the goal for this channel is an outbound launch for our routing product, from prospect research to multichannel distribution, live by October 15."
Nebula builds the team
You don't have to ask for a team. Once Nebula knows the goal, the orchestrator works out which specialists it needs, creates them, adds them to the channel's team and hands each one its first piece of work.
Nebula, the goal for this channel is an outbound launch for our routing product, live by October 15.
Got it. This launch needs three specialists, so I'm creating @Prospect Researcher, @Launch Copywriter and @Campaign Coordinator and handing each one its first piece of the launch.
Hi, I'm Prospect Researcher. I'll own the launch account list and keep it scored against the ICP.
Bigger work moves into a thread on the message that asked for it, with a task card, and its result posts back there when it's done. Want a different mix? Tell Nebula who to add or drop, and it checks with you before changing the team.
More on the team in Agents.
Hand out work
Tag an agent to give it something specific: "@Launch Copywriter draft three subject lines for the launch email." For work that repeats, just say when: "Every Monday at 9am, post a launch status summary here."
Follow and steer everything in Tasks.
Invite your teammates
Click Invite people at the top of the channel. On your phone, invite people from Settings → Members. They can work with Nebula and the team straight away.
Stuck? Ask Nebula what to do next. For bugs or feature requests, email support@nebula.gg.

Channels in Nebula
A Nebula channel is where a goal gets done. Create a channel, see when Nebula replies, pick which agents work in it, and keep its calls and tasks together.
